BIOS

Most BIOS managers are accessed via the PC's own startup screen before Windows kicks in, but if you just want to check the current BIOS details give this freebie a try: it's much easier than frantically stabbing at function keys during the system startup. BIOS Wizard polls the system to automatically identify the BIOS date, type, ID string, motherboard OEM data and chipset. Armed with this info, you can hunt down the matching BIOS update from your motherboard or system vendor. The program also runs a series of BIOS checks.
